形态：小型鸟类，体长13-16cm。头黑色，有一长而宽阔的皮黄色眉纹，从额基向后延伸至后头侧，在黑色的头部极为醒目。背、肩栗褐色，具黑褐色纵纹。翅黑褐色，具黄白色翅斑。下体黄褐色或皮黄色，胸侧和两胁杂有细的栗褐色纵纹。
虹膜黄色；嘴角质色；脚淡黄色。
分布：主要分布于中国东北沿海地区。在保护区常见的冬候鸟。
习性：栖息于低山丘陵和山脚平原地带的林缘、河谷、灌丛、农田。繁殖于西伯利亚地区。主要以各种昆虫和昆虫幼虫为食，也吃少量植物性食物。
