第一类：HIA（Health Insurance Associate）——医疗保险准会员
获得这一资格，需要通过以下6门考试：
（1）健康医疗保险入门 （The Health Insurance Primer）
（2）健康医疗保险原理 （ Health Insurance Hats and Bolt）
（3）医疗费用保险（Medical Expense Insurance）
（4）补充医疗保险（Supplemental Health Insurance）
（5）和（6）：
在以下3门中任选2门：
*长期护理：风险，费用 （Long-Term Care： Knowing the Risk， Paying the Price）
*欺诈：隐藏的医疗费用 （Fraud： The Hidden Cost of Health Care）
*残疾收入保险 （Disability Income Insurance： The Unique Risk）
第二类：MHP（Managed Healthcare Professional）——管理式医疗专业人员
（1）健康医疗保险入门（The Health Insurance Primer）
（2）健康医疗保险原理 （ Health Insurance Hats and Bolt）
（3）医疗费用保险（Medical Expense Insurance）
（4）管理式医疗之 一 （Managed Care： Integrating the Delivery and Financing of Health Care： Part A）
（5）管理式医疗之二 （Managed Care： Integrating the Delivery and Financing of Health Care： Part B）
（6）管理式医疗之三 （Managed Care： Integrating the Delivery and Financing of Health Care： Part C）
考试者可以报名参加两类考试中的任何一类6门课程的考试，亦可报名参加任何一门课程的考试。考前不进行集体辅导和培训。
未来的保险业竞争激烈，如有某种专业知识，必会增加了竞争的筹码，HIAA入世后将走俏。
