Course Description

Help students systematically master the basic concepts,theories and research methods of gardens and greenbelts,especially understand the evolution of gardening,emphasizing the different features and relationships of various genres,such as Japanese gardens,private gardens by the south of Yangtze River,royal gardens,rule-style gardens,free style gardens and Islamic gardens; enable students to interpret the characteristics of garden development from the point of view of social backgrounds,environment,etc. Furthermore to do the evaluation in depth.
