Course Description

Ecological planning is one of the core contents of landscape planning. This course summarizes the basic concepts of ecological systems,ecological protection and ecological restoration. The basic channel of large-scale ecological protection is the national park system,while ecological restoration is to restore the damaged environment by means of human intervention. This course introduces the values,classification and achievements of national parks,and discusses the practices of ecological restoration in the process of landscape design in Europe and Australia.
