海运提单的基本内容

(五)承运人的赔偿责任限额/托运人的从价运费选择权

LIMITATION ON CARRIER’S LIABILITY/SHIPPER’S AD VALOREM OPTION. The carrier shall in no event be liable for any loss or damage to or in connection with the transportation of Goods in an amount exceeding us $500 per package, or in the case of goods not shipped in packages per customary freight unit, or the equivalent of that sum in other currency unless the nature and higher value of such goods have been declared by the shipper before shipment and inserted in the Bill of lading. If the Merchant desires to be covered for valuation in excess of said US$500 per package or customary freight unit or any other applicable limitation, the Merchant must so stipulate in this Bill of Lading and such additional liability only will be assumed by the Carrier upon payment of the Carrier’s ad valorem freight charge.

RECEIVED BY PAN AMERICAN CONTAINER CORP. the goods, or the containers, vans, trailers, palletized units or other packages said to contain the goods herein mentioned, in apparent outward good order and condition unless otherwise indicated to be transported and delivered or transshipped herein provided.

The receipt, custody, carriage, delivery and transshipping of the goods are subject to the terms appearing on the face and back hereof, as well as the provisions contained in the filed freight tariff.

In witness whereof the carrier by its agent has signed 3 Bills of lading, all of the same tenor and date, one of which being accomplished, the others to stand void.

泛美集装箱公司收到的货物,或集装箱、篷车、拖车、托盘或其他包装的货物,据称包括本提单所述货物,外表状况良好,另作注明者除外,将按本提单记载进行运输及交付或转运。

该货物之收受、保管、运输、交付及转运,以本提单之正面和背面条款以及既定运价表所包括的条件为准。
