清明节（通常是四月六号）或哀悼日是杭州人们去市郊为逝去的亲人扫墓的日子。这一习惯从宋朝的时候开始盛行，现在，扫墓的同时人们也顺便去春游，杭州人会找一个风景秀丽的地方进行家庭聚餐。清明节的另一个风俗是吃清明团子，清明团子是由大米和艾叶做成的，里面塞满了糖和甜的豆浆。这种绿色的像饺子一样的东西会作为祭祀品之一，等祭祀完了也可以让家庭成员享用。
