学名：Aythya ferina
英名：Common Pochard
形态：中型鸭类，体长41-50cm。雄鸟嘴为铅黑色，头和颈栗红色。上体灰色，具黑色波状细纹。胸黑色，腹和两胁白色，尾黑色。雌鸟头、颈棕褐色，胸暗黄褐色，腹和两胁灰褐色，杂有浅褐色横斑，余同雄鸟。
虹膜雄鸟红色，雌鸟褐色；嘴灰色而端黑；脚灰色。
分布：中国大部分省份有分布。在保护区属较常见的冬候鸟，2013年3月1日首次在保护区记录到4只。
习性：栖息于有水生植物的开阔湖泊、水库、海湾、河口等处。常成群活动，主要以水藻等植物性食物为主。

HH: Frequents well-vegetated open lakes， reservoirs， bays and estuaries.Often in flocks.Herbivorous， feeds mainly on algae.
