学名：Butastur indicus
英名：Grey-faced Buzzard
形态：中型猛禽，体长39-46cm。上体暗褐沾棕，翅上覆羽棕褐色，尾灰褐色，具3道宽的黑褐色横斑；脸颊和耳区鼠灰色。喉白色，具一道黑褐色粗中央喉线，胸以下白色，具密的棕褐色横斑。幼鸟具粗的米黄色眉纹，下体密布深褐色纵纹。飞行时翼窄长，前后缘皆平直。
虹膜黄色；嘴黑色，嘴基部和蜡膜黄色；脚黄色。
分布：中国东部地区有分布。在保护区属很常见的旅鸟。迁徙期集群。
习性：栖息于海拔1500米以下的森林地带。飞行缓慢，喜从树上栖息处捕食。主要以小型蛇类、蛙、蜥蜴、鼠类、鸟类等为食。

BP: Eyes yellow； bill black， base and cere yellow； tarsi yellow.
SD: Fairly common migrant.Migrates in flocks.
HH: Frequents forests below 1500m.Flight slow.Hunts from perch.Feeds mainly on small snakes， frogs， lizards， rodents and birds.
