虹膜褐色；上嘴褐色，下嘴偏粉；脚铅色。
分布：除西藏外，大部分省份有分布。在保护区属较常见的旅鸟和极少量夏候鸟。
习性：喜芦苇地、稻田、沼泽及低地次生灌丛。性极机警，善于藏匿。主要以昆虫为食。
