社会领域中的英语渗透

【摘要】:在幼儿园社会领域中的双语教学是指创设英语听、说、做的环境,拓展幼儿的英语词汇和丰富英语的言语。社会生活中的双语教学不是把原先的教材翻译成英语来教学,而是以幼儿原有的英语知识为基础,有效地把一定量的英语融合于社会教学之中,使社会学科知识和英语语言合理整合,促进学生一定量的英语语言的积累与获得。在社会双语教学中让学生掌握一些在英语教学中不常接触到的专业词汇,拓展在生活中需要的英语词汇。

第五节 社会领域中的英语渗透

在幼儿园社会领域中的双语教学是指创设英语听、说、做的环境,拓展幼儿的英语词汇和丰富英语的言语。其主要教育内容包括发展幼儿的社会性、增进幼儿的社会认知、激发幼儿的社会情感、引导幼儿的社会行为。

社会生活中的双语教学不是把原先的教材翻译成英语来教学,而是以幼儿原有的英语知识为基础,有效地把一定量的英语融合于社会教学之中,使社会学科知识和英语语言合理整合,促进学生一定量的英语语言的积累与获得。在社会双语教学中让学生掌握一些在英语教学中不常接触到的专业词汇,拓展在生活中需要的英语词汇。

(一)幼儿园社会生活与文化双语活动要求的落实

1.抓住基本的社会生活英语词语,如英语的家庭中称呼、职业等,幼儿园中教师和幼儿、社区中的设施的描述等。同时,注意学生社会生活中的英语听力的提高,培养幼儿对社会的听力敏感,为幼儿的主题双语活动打下坚实的基础。

2.利用真实的、创设模拟的社会环境,鼓励幼儿运用英语大胆交流、交往,在此过程中获得一定的社会知识,发展社会交往能力。在社会双语教学中,使用的句型应该尽量是幼儿熟悉的,甚至用简单的单词、词组,尽可能地使用简单词句表达社会生活的知识点。在教学过程中,应该多设置生活情景,让幼儿用所学的英语教学知识来解决实际问题,增加英语学与说、说与用的内容,丰富社会生活知识习得的体验过程,形成主动用两种语言来解决生活中的问题的习惯。在双语教学过程中,要提高学科语言的复现率,使学生熟练运用新学的学科语言进行听、读。

3.重视社会文化特别是外来文化的感受。一定的社会文化总是与特定的社会背景、社会特征等因素结合在一起的。在人们希冀将文化因子完美地渗入具体的教育过程之前,深入分析并充分把握社会文化自身的属性是相当必要的。社会文化为幼儿园英语教育内容提供了丰富的素材,而幼儿园英语教育内容也在不同层面上对外来社会文化产生积极的影响,通过文化的传播,推动了社会文化的发展。进行社会双语活动时,不仅要关注社会文化本身,还应将英语教学的特质与社会文化结合起来,遵循生活化、经验化、适宜化原则,找到两者之间理想的切入点,使存在于幼儿园双语教育之中的社会文化能真正地促进儿童的发展。

1.Warming up师生相互问候

T:Good morning,Babies!

T:Stand up! Sit down! Turn around! I'm tall! I'm short! {请小朋友一起跟着老师做课前热身活动}

2.Song歌曲:Head Shoulders Knees Toes

(师生之间简短的对话,一下子使幼儿进入了英语的情境中。通过复习孩子们已经会唱的歌曲和儿歌,使孩子们逐步融入英语的情境中)

3.Game游戏,出示人物图片,和幼儿打招呼

I have some cards.There is daddy,mummy and baby on them.Let's guess who it is?

Who can have a try?(幼儿每猜测一个人物,老师就把人物翻过来,同时和幼儿练习句子。This is Daddy,yes or no?)

T:(模仿爸爸的声音)Good morning,boys and girls.

C:Good morning,daddy!(逐一出示妈妈、宝宝的图片,并用不同的方式打招呼)

(让幼儿猜测图片上是谁,充分激发了幼儿的好奇心,同时老师运用体态语帮助幼儿理解老师的提问Who is it?易于幼儿的理解,更能吸引幼儿的注意。通过yes or no的提问,更提高了幼儿的倾听能力)

(新授爷爷和奶奶的单词,通过重复练习和模仿爷爷奶奶的神态,让幼儿在游戏的情境中,体会爷爷和奶奶的含义)

T:<Take out a family house>Where is my Daddy? I'm coming! I love you,daddy! {代表爸爸的弹簧娃娃从窗户里出来,逐一请出妈妈、爷爷、奶奶}

(因为房子的门和窗是老师用了巧妙的技巧设置的,门和窗户可以打开。他们往往会好奇,个个注意力集中,探出小脑袋。看看究竟窗户里会跳出谁来了。在带有游戏性质的这个活动环节中,小朋友再一次巩固了爷爷和奶奶的发音,了解了他们的意义,并且区分了妈妈和爸爸的发音)

6.初步了解句子的含义,能够正确倾听

(1)教师示范。I love you! I will kiss you.Kiss kiss.

(2)教师拿出准备好的嘴巴,发给小朋友,让他们把嘴巴贴在爸爸、妈妈、爷爷、奶奶的脸上,同时要说I love you! Kiss,kiss kiss。

7.根据儿歌内容进行表演,教幼儿初步学习儿歌

(1)Look,my hand will change.教师给自己的手分别戴上一个人物的指偶,让幼儿观察清楚,五个手指分别代表的人物。

(2)教师边念儿歌边用手做示范。Listen to me.

(3)请全体小朋友一起做人物手指操,并念儿歌。OK,let's read the rhyme.

组织幼儿集体表演手指游戏,请幼儿模仿老师的动作,边做动作,边念儿歌。

Now,all the boys and girl,let's read the rhyme together.

If you feel your students will benefit from reading about your neighboring countries,you can easily adapt our project to your own interests and needs.

We used similar strategies when dealing with the different countries.Find below some details of our research on France and the French.

We started by choosing a number of interesting topics(art and artists,business,cuisine,entertainment,fashion,geography,history,literature,famous people,places,politics,sports and the cinema).

Then,after using various manuals,encyclopaedias and,of course,the Internet,we made a list of names under each category,e.g.language,fashion,festival etc.

Afterwards,we looked for information on the selected words and names,added pictures where possible ...and we eventually made a booklet :“France,Morocco and Portugal from A to Z”.It is not available at bookshops but ...if you'd take my word for it ...it's interesting!
