奥斯卡金像奖

Oscar Awards^［12］奖杯的五环片盘，分别代表producer^［13］、film director^［14］、playwright^［15］、actor^［16］、technician^［17］。

奥斯卡奖可分achievement award^［18］和special achievement award^［19］及scientific or technical award^［20］三大类。成就奖主要包括best film award^［21］, best screenplay award^［22］, best director award^［23］, best performance award^［24］男女lead and support role^［25］, best cinematography award^［26］, best art direction award^［27］, best score award^［28］, best editing award^［29］, best costume design award^［30］, best makeup award^［31］, best short subject award^［32］, best documentary award^［33］, best foreign language film award^［34］等。特别奖则有honorary award^［35］, Irving Thalberg memorial award^［36］, Jean Hersholt humanitarian award^［37］、科技成果奖和特别成就奖。其中，最佳音乐奖授予的对象是为大型故事片创作的theme music^［38］，包括词与配曲。最佳美工奖的对象是影片的scenery^［39］、properties^［40］等设计。琼·赫肖尔特人道主义奖设立于1972年。那时，science fiction^［41］、catastrophic film^［42］、action movie^［43］日益增多，为了表彰他们在视觉效果和音响方面的革新成就而特设此奖。

众多奖之中，最具影响的为最佳影片奖，而最佳男女角奖属表演奖项，获奖人有movie king^［44］与movie queen^［45］之称。
