非获奖人对奖项声誉的评价分析

本研究是通过问卷调查来实现对奖项声誉大小的定量评价的。某个学科领域的问卷的调查对象，是这个问卷所包括的奖项的获奖人。但是，对于问卷中的一个具体的奖项，对其进行声誉评价的调查对象就分为这个奖项的获奖人和非获奖人了。考虑到获奖人可能出于私利等原因给自身所获奖项的声誉评分较高，因而有必要比较根据非获奖人回复计算的声誉得分各奖项平均声誉得分与根据全部回复计算的平均声誉得分，从而判断获奖人评价对整体结果的影响。

本研究计算了各学科领域内每个奖项的非获奖人回复者对该奖项给出的平均声誉得分，详见附录1，并以此为基础，计算了各学科领域内[55]各奖项的根据非获奖人回复计算的与根据全部回复计算的声誉得分的比值，如图5- 26所示。根据计算出的208项奖项样本的数据，有9项奖项的根据非获奖人回复计算的声誉得分与根据全部回复计算的声誉得分的比值大于1，即这9项奖项的获奖人对奖项声誉的评分要低于非获奖人的评分，占到了4．3％。此外，还有69项奖项的根据非获奖人回复计算的与根据全部回复计算的声誉得分的比值等于1，即这69项奖项的获奖人对奖项声誉的评分与非获奖人的评分相同，占到了33．2％。因而，根据非获奖人回复计算的声誉得分与根据全部回复计算的声誉得分的比值不低于1的奖项，总计有78项，占到了37．5％。这些奖项不存在获奖人给自身所获奖项的声誉评分较高的现象。最后，还有130奖项的根据非获奖人回复计算的声誉得分与根据全部回复计算的声誉得分的比值低于1，即这130项奖项的获奖人对奖项声誉的评分高于非获奖人的评分，占到了62．5％。可见，多数奖项的获奖人给自身所获奖项的声誉评分较高。

从影响程度来看，根据非获奖人回复计算的声誉得分与根据全部回复计算的声誉得分的比值最大的是世界技术个人奖——生物技术类（World Technology Award in Biotechnology），比值为1．15。该奖项获奖人对声誉的评分低于全部回复者的评分的程度最大。去除该奖的获奖人的评分后，该奖的声誉得分由0．33提高到0．38，即便如此也没有改变该奖的声誉等级。根据非获奖人回复计算的声誉得分与根据全部回复计算的声誉得分的比值最小的是列昂惕夫促进经济学思想前沿奖（Leontief Prize for Advancing the Frontiers of Economic Thought），比值为0．5。该奖项获奖人对声誉的评分高于全部回复者的评分的程度最大。去除该奖的获奖人的评分后，该奖的声誉得分由0．20降低到0．10。即便如此，该奖的声誉等级也没有发生变化，依然是经济学里声誉低的奖项。此外，还有亨斯迈奖（A．G．Huntsman Award）、世界科学院地球科学奖（TWAS Prizein Earth Sciences）、W．华莱士麦克道尔奖（W．Wallace Mc Dowell Award）、世界技术个人奖——材料类（World Technology Awardin Materials）、H．R．李森纳奖（H．R．Lissner Medal）、普里茨克杰出讲座奖（The Pritzker Distinguished Lecture Award）、国际研究协会卡尔·多伊奇奖（Karl Deutsch Award of International Studies Association）、约翰·高斯奖（John Gaus Award and Lectureship）这八项奖项的根据非获奖人回复计算的声誉得分与根据全部回复计算的声誉得分的比值偏低，低于0．8但均高于0．7。以上这些奖项分布在地球科学、电子信息与电气工程、材料科学与工程、生物与医学工程、政治学和经济学。其余学科领域内各奖项的根据非获奖人回复计算的声誉得分与根据全部回复计算的声誉得分的比值，偏离1的程度不大。

图5-27显示了各声誉等级下根据非获奖人回复计算的与根据全部回复计算的声誉得分的比值。根据统计，该比值低于0．8的奖项有9项奖项，这些奖项的根据全部回复计算的声誉得分均不超过0．50；该比值不低于0．8但小于0．9的17项奖项中，有12项奖项的根据全部回复计算的声誉得分均不超过0．50；在从高到低的四个声誉等级区间内，该比值小于0．9的奖项占各自声誉区间内全部奖项的比例分别是20．0％、16．0％、7．6％和0．0％。随着声誉等级的提高，根据非获奖人回复计算的与根据全部回复计算的声誉得分的比值偏离1的程度更大的奖项，所占的比例降低。这说明，获奖人与非获奖人对奖项声誉评价的差距，主要存在于声誉偏低的奖项上；对于声誉较高的奖项，获奖人与非获奖人对奖项声誉评价的差距不大。

本研究还根据各学科领域内各个奖项的根据非获奖人回复计算的声誉得分与根据全部回复计算的声誉得分的比值，计算了各学科领域的该比值的平均值，以及非获奖人回复者所占比例的平均值，详见表5-3。

根据统计，各学科领域中只有土木工程以及生物与医学工程的问卷回复者中，获奖人回复者所占比例的平均值超过了20％，非获奖人回复者所占比例的平均值低于80％，但也都高于75％。而且，这两个学科的问卷回复数量也是最低的，均少于10份。生命科学与医学、物理学、电子信息与电气工程、经济学等八个学科领域的问卷回复者中，非获奖人回复者所占比例的平均值均高于90％。此外，地球科学、化学、天文学、环境科学与工程、材料科学与工程、化学工程、政治学和法学等十个学科领域的问卷回复者中，非获奖人回复者所占比例的平均值介于80％到90％之间。由此可见，给各奖项的声誉进行评分的回复者中，多数或绝大多数都是各奖项的非获奖人。

另根据统计，各学科领域内各个奖项的根据非获奖人回复计算的声誉得分与根据全部回复计算的声誉得分的比值，有生命科学与医学、脑科学与认知科学、物理学、天文学、电子信息与电气工程、环境科学与工程、土木工程、机械工程、法学等12个学科领域的该比值的平均值不低于0．95。还有地球科学、化学、材料科学与工程、化学工程、经济学等七个学科领域的该比值的平均值大于0．9，但小于0．95。只有政治学的该比值的平均值为0．89，虽然最低，但非常接近于0．9。总体来看，各学科领域的根据非获奖人回复计算的声誉得分接近于根据全部回复计算的声誉得分。

综上所述，鉴于对各奖项的声誉进行评分的回复者中，多数或绝大多数都是各奖项的非获奖人，因而虽然多数奖项的获奖人给自身所获奖项的声誉评分较高，但是这种现象并未对整体结果造成影响。若要更科学地比较一个奖项的获奖人与非获奖人对该奖项声誉的评定差异，还需要更多的获奖人参与到声誉调查中。
